Investment varies based on your specific needs and the level of support you're looking for. During our initial conversation, we'll discuss your goals and transparent pricing for services that make the most sense for your situation.

It depends on what you need! Summer Prep runs for a few weeks leading up to the semester, while Semester Consulting typically runs from August through early December (fall) or January through early May (spring).

Some students work with LSL for just one semester and then feel confident taking it from there (that's the goal, after all, to give you tools you can implement yourself). Others choose to continue for the full year, appreciating the intensive support given the high stakes and wanting to eliminate any guesswork. And beyond that, some students return to get specific help with subjects they find more challenging. There are various factors at play, but everything happens 100% virtually, and Shannon will design a timeline that fits your learning style and schedule.

The core challenges are universal across law schools – especially because 1L students essentially take the same core classes everywhere. Time management, effective study strategies, navigating expectations, and managing stress are common experiences. LSL focuses on adaptable strategies that work regardless of your specific curriculum or professor’s teaching style. Think of it as learning the fundamentals that translate across any law school environment.

Anything and everything related to your law school success. We’ll focus heavily on study methods, note-taking, cold calls, exam prep, and outline strategies. Depending on your needs and preferences, we'll also discuss networking, resume edits, job timelines, and possible post-grad careers.

Note: Shannon specializes in supporting students who are already in law school. However, if you're in the application process, she'd still love to hear from you. She can share helpful resources and looks forward to potentially working together once you're admitted.

The honest answer: before you're already struggling. Shannon enjoys working with students who start in August, but she’s here for you if you seek support in December or January after a challenging semester. In an ideal world, we'd work together from day one to establish the right habits and methods. But if you initially felt confident and now realize you could use some guidance, that's completely normal, and she’s here to help you get back on track.
